What is AudioWanker?
AudioWanker is a client/server system that allows you to inform the world what you're listening to at any given moment. First, you upload an image to the server. Then stick the url to the image on your webpage or in your signature or whatever. Once you've done that, start up the AudioWanker Client. Anytime you play something in Winamp, AudioWanker will contact the server. The next time someone views your image, the song title will be written on the bottom of the image.
Important! To run the AudioWanker Client, you must have Microsoft's .NET Framework installed. Microsoft's .NET is just like Sun's Java, except that .NET doesn't suck. Download the .NET CLR v1.1.
How do I use AudioWanker?

--
Q: "A required .DLL file, MSCOREE.DLL. was not found.", what does this mean?
A: This is explained in Microsoft KB article Q316091. The short version is that you didn't install the .NET CLR.
Q: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.", what does this mean
A: You either did not install the .NET CLR or the .NET CLR has become damaged and requires a reinstall.
What does 'no carrier' mean? also What does 'no data' mean?
A: 'no carrier' means you the AudioWanker client hasn't contacted the server yet. 'no data' means you haven't chosen a text font or colour yet.
Q: I need help w/ using AudioWanker!
A: You can always find help in the WebChat.
Q: Where have I seen this before?
A: AudioWanker was conceived by Matt Guye when he realized there was no way to tell if some other system was spyware or not. Who do you trust: the others guys or OmletteSoft?
Q: Why do you only support .PNGs?
A: I blame McClaud.
Q: Why .NET?
A: AudioWanker is a Microsoft .NET Framework-based application. The .NET Framework makes it really easy to write programs for Microsoft Windows.
Q: I can't use AudioWanker on the forums that I visit!
A: The forums you frequent probably don't allow HTML. They may allow UBBC or some variant thereof, therefore you should link to the image like so:

Don't forget to use the URL version of your username, My Name becomes My+Name, &c. Ask for help in the webchat if you're still having trouble.
Q: I ♥ Apple!
A: That's not a question. If you're using Quicktime (for whatever reason), change "Audio App Win32 Window Class" to QuickTimePlayerMain. Unfortunately, AudioWanker currently does not work w/ iTunes.
